The news as of 3:30 AM this morning.
Max's head circumference had increased +0.5 cm as of last night's reading. Perhaps, like the earlier apparent decrease, this was just measurement error. However, his last tap that actually drained fluid was on 11/27, which was something like the nadir of Max's time at the NICU.
In better news, Max pooped at this midnight and 3:00 AM diaper changes. If Max keeps up his current pace, Carolyn and I may stop noting each and every stool as if it were a precious gem.
Finally, to the neuro service: I apologize for comparing you to 19th century charlatans.

Max was born in October 2008 at Georgetown University Hospital. After more than four months at GUH, Max moved to the HSC Pediatric Center in March 2009. He came home six months after he was born, in April 2009.
